Leyan Pan is a first-year Ph.D. student at the Georgia Institute of Technology advised by Prof. Wenke Lee. His research interests lie mainly in the theory and application of Machine Learning and its application Computer Security. His current research interest is mainly focused on understanding the reasoning capabilities of Large Language Models and applying such capabilities in security-related applications such as program analysis. Before joining the Ph.D. Program, Leyan also had industry security internship experience with IBM X-Force and Facebook Reality Labs. He also earned a Master’s degree from Georgia Tech with Thesis focused on the mathematical structure of Neural Networks.
